Check In/Pickup Location Details

  • Arriving by Public Vaporetto:
    Take line #1 and get off at San Marco Vallaresso stop, or line #2 and get off at San Marco Giardinetti stop. Once you get off the vaporetto, turn right and go straight to the two columns. Then, turn left and reach Saint Mark’s Square. Once by the Bell Tower, leave the Basilica on your right and find the assistant waiting for you with the TOUR signboard under the Clock Tower.
    Arriving on Foot:
    Once by the Bell Tower, leave the Basilica on your right and find the assistant waiting for you with the TOUR signboard under the Clock Tower.

Restrictions

  • This activity is not wheelchair accessible.
  • Guests with a limited range of movement are not permitted to participate in this activity.

Additional Notes

  • During some days of high turnout or for reasons of force majeure (i.e. high tide or security problems), the waiting time to access St. Mark's Basilica might be longer than expected. In this case, please line up and respect the instructions provided by the guide.
  • Please note the schedules of the following guided tours in other languages: April to October - English/French/German/Spanish (Monday to Saturday) - Italian (Saturday) This visit is monolingual.   • Admission to the following palaces around St. Mark's Square is included in the package: Museo Correr, Venice National Archaeological Museum and Monumental Rooms of the Biblioteca Marciana. Travelers may also visit these sites on their own.
  • The optional tour of a glass factory with glass craftsman demonstration is not a part of the tour. Kindly note that this optional visit could take longer than the scheduled time and that it is not recommended if you have another reservation scheduled on the same day.
  • Please note that this tour may not operate in case of exceptionally bad weather, local gondolier's strike or unplanned religious functions.
  • For security reasons, sacks, bags or knapsacks are not allowed inside the Basilica or Doge's Palace.
  • Please arrive at your check-in location 15 minutes prior to the start time.
  • Audio-receiver devices will be available for groups with more than 10 people during the walking tour.
